LETTERS
I would like to take this opportunity to inform the members of the lesbian/gay community about the success the Police Department has had as a result of the Chronicle's publishing the police liaison editorial and the list of names and phone numbers.

part in the raps has been very positive. One participant recently commented, "People at the raps have become part of my gay family." Another noted, "Your participation is encouraged, but just your coming is appreciated."
So if the regular gay scene leaves you unhappy, bored, or feeling that something is missing, come to the Community Center at 2100 Fulton (one block south of Lorain Avenue) at 8 pm on Friday nights.
